Gary W. Gunderson- Mr. Gunderson has had a very successful business career and brings a broad range of business experience to his current clients. His career highlights outlined below demonstrate successful business performance from the very smallest to the very largest businesses.

-Fortune 500 Company Executive: 24 year career ending as the Director-Marketing for AT&T Communications.

-Chief Executive Officer of a mid-market ($200M) communications technology company: joined the company as a division VP/GM and orchestrated a total business turnaround and successful equity sale to a major industry player.

-CEO and Founder of a private capital financed start-up in the recycling industry: Obtained six patents, raised private capital, and successfully built and demonstrated a pilot plant.

-Owner of a small business: Relocated to South Carolina and bought a small manufacturing company. Bought and merged two other businesses and grew the company to become the largest promotional products company in the principal market area.

-He is currently the owner of Empire Business Brokers-Southeast.

Gary has an undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Maryland and is a Sloan Fellow with a Master of Science degree in management from Stanford University

Gary is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and has earned the Certified Business Intermediary designation by that organization. He is a member of the M & A Source, the Carolinas Virginia Business Brokers Association and is also the South Carolina State Director of Business Brokers of America-an international business brokerage network of offices across the USA, Mexico and selected additional countries.
